Two men who scammed an 83-year-old victim out of $10,000 on June 24 are being sought by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police said the elderly man was approached earlier that day by two black males outside the Sam's Club on Beach Boulevard. The strangers told him they wanted to donate thousands of dollars to the homeless so they could inherit millions when they returned to their country. They showed the victim a bag and claimed there was $80,000 in it, then asked him to drive them to a church so they could donate $1,000.
