The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Clay, Duval and St. Johns counties through Saturday evening.
Heavy showers and thunderstorms could bring two to four inches of rain on top of the five to 10 inches that have fallen the past three days on Northeast Florida, according to meteorologists.
