Jacksonville dogs, cats and other leashed domestic creatures can partake in the annual blessing of the pets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Metropolitan Park, 1410 Gator Bowl Blvd.
Along with pet demonstrations, a butterfly tent, face painting and pet pictures with Santa, St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church’s pastor, The Rev. Nicholas Louh, will offer the special animal blessing at the free event.
