Duval and St. Johns counties host mobile hazardous waste disposal sites soon for people who want to safely get rid of items ranging from household waste like paint, aerosol cans and batteries to e-waste like old televisions or computers.
• St. Johns County’s Solid Waste Management hosts a Community Collection Day from 8 a.m. until noon today at Murray Middle School, 150 N. Holmes Blvd. in St. Augustine. Household hazardous waste and obsolete electronics are allowed, but no microwave ovens or large appliances, and no more than 10 tires per household.
